
The Last Mile project aimed at finding sustainable, flexible transport systems (FTS) for the last mile in the transport chain in tourism. After the end of the project in 2020 six project partners started on 3rd of November 2021 a 3rd phase of LAST MILE.


The 7th Last Mile project partners meeting was held in Barcelona on 18-19 June 2019. It was hosted by the Department of Territory and Sustainable Development of the Government of Catalonia.
Prof. Ilieva presented the results of the first phase of the Last Mile project at the Congress of the International Association of Urban and Regional Planners, organized by the Ministry of Regional Development and the Municipality of Bodø in Norway (1-5 October 2018).
On July 30, 2018, the last meeting for the first stage of the project was conducted in Varna Regional Administration.
For the 4th time, CSDCS was invited to the Congress Cities for Mobility in Stuttgart, which is organized every two years under the aegis of the Mayor to discuss the most modern global aspects of mobility.
Prof. Ilieva presented the Last Mile project and the results from its 1st phase at the TUM2018 Conference in Munich, organized by the TU in Munich on 13-14.06.2018.
