The implementation of the “CIVITAS ECCENTRIC” project was presented during a public discussion on the amendment of the Integrated Plan for City Rehabilitation and Development of Ruse, held on 31 May 2019.
The Chair of the Club Sustainable Development of Civil Society, Lucia Ilieva, talked about the concept of sustainable urban mobility and its implementation in various European cities, including measures for its demonstration in the Druzhba neighborhood of Rousse through the Horizon 2020 international project, in which URGO Club and Ruse Municipality participate as partners. She also presented in brief some other initiatives for urban mobility and tourism, that the Club, being a member of international partnerships, introduces in many Bulgarian cities as innovative approaches.
The public discussion led by Deputy Mayor Strahil Karapchansky was attended by representatives of chambers of commerce, municipal units, companies and media.
