International expert team travels sustainably from the source to the delta of the Danube
In the context of the EU Interreg project “Transdanube.Pearls”, an international expert team, consisting of video, mobility and tourism experts, travelled along the Danube by using only sustainable means of transport, such as busses, trains, ships and bikes. With more than 10 stops in 11 days, the first part of the journey was successfully completed in Budapest.
The first TF meeting was held on 29th of June 2017 in Sofia.
15 organisations from 9 European countries along the Danube encourage the development of a Network of Destinations (“Pearls”) to offer their visitors and inhabitants the possibility to travel and explore the Danube region with sustainable means of transport.
The Agency, in close cooperation with the Maltese Presidency of the EU Council, invited stakeholders to the high-level symposium 'Is Europe doing enough to protect fundamental rights?' where fundamental rights issues that are currently high on the EU’s political agenda were discussed.
The representatives of CSDCS Maria Stoycheva and Daniel Dimitrov participated in a training session of the European Green Public Procurement Network, which took place on 20 June 2017 in EC - DG Environment, Brussels.
The 4th PPs’ meeting on Last Mile project was held in Luxembourg in the period 19-22.06.2017.
